Your wedding shouldn't revolve around photography and film.
We'll create enough time for beautiful portraits, but the focus will always be on the celebration, your guests, and the moments you can't plan. I'll blend into the background when I should and step in with direction only when it genuinely adds value.

My approach is calm, guided, and people-focused. I don't believe in stiff poses or forced moments. Instead, I help shape the flow of the day so things unfold naturally, letting you stay present while I quietly capture what truly matters.
With hundreds of weddings behind me, I've learned that the most meaningful images aren't made by perfect timelines, they're made by space. Space to breathe, connect, and experience the day without pressure.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can be fully present with every couple. My role goes beyond documentation: I support you through the process and on the day itself, so you feel looked after from start to finish.

Every couple receives full professional photography, all the meaningful moments, nothing held back. Where couples choose differently is the film.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Consistent across every wedding. Full coverage, focused on people, relationships, and how the day feels as it unfolds, timeless and true to life, never trend-driven.
FILM
Some couples prefer a music-led film that captures the atmosphere and emotion of the day. Others choose a story-driven approach, shaped around voices and relationships, so the film feels like a narrative rather than a montage. We'll talk through both on our call and choose what fits your day.

I’m Kobus Tollig
I'm a South African wedding photographer and filmmaker in the Cape, working with couples who care deeply about how their day feels, not just how it looks. My work spans Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl and the Overberg, and further afield for destination weddings.
The beautiful photographs are the result of the experience I create, not the other way around. Keep couples relaxed, notice the moments others miss, quietly solve problems before they become stressful, that's the real work.
