Paarl wedding photographer.
Natural, considered wedding photography and film for couples getting married across Paarl, Wellington and the surrounding Cape Winelands — without turning the day into a photoshoot.

Grand estates and mountain light. A wedding that still feels like yours.
Open landscapes. Strong light. Plenty of room to work.
Paarl and Wellington have a character of their own within the Cape Winelands: broad vineyard views, dramatic mountain backdrops, established estates and wedding venues that range from contemporary garden spaces to old Cape farm settings.
Summer afternoons can be bright and hot, while mountain light can change quickly as the day moves toward evening. Experience means planning around that quietly — choosing the right locations at the right time without making the photography dictate the wedding.
I have photographed multiple weddings at Belair Pavilion in Paarl, as well as celebrations throughout the neighbouring Wellington valley. The goal is always the same: use the landscape well, work efficiently and give you space to enjoy the people you invited.
Calm when you need it. Direction when it helps.
You do not need to know how to pose.
When a portrait needs direction, I'll give it clearly. When the stronger photograph is already happening, I leave it alone.
Portrait time stays considered.
We make strong portraits without turning an hour of your wedding into a production or removing you from the people you invited to celebrate with.
The people around you matter too.
Parents, friends, reactions, speeches, conversations and unexpected moments are part of the story — not background to a collection of couple portraits.
Experience keeps things uncomplicated.
Timelines move, weather changes and light shifts. Those things are part of photographing weddings, not reasons for your day to become stressful.
Elegant does not have to mean staged.
There is a place for direction. There is also a point where too much direction removes you from your own wedding.
The balance is knowing when to refine a portrait and when the better photograph is already unfolding without interference.

From Paarl garden venues to Wellington wine estates, this part of the Winelands gives couples a wide range of settings without having to travel far from Cape Town.
One wedding. Two ways to remember it.
The moments you can hold onto.
Full wedding photography built around people rather than trends. Strong portraits, genuine reactions, family, atmosphere and everything happening around the obvious moments.
Wedding photography →The moments you can hear again.
Voices, vows, laughter, speeches and movement give the day another dimension. Photography and film are created together by one team rather than competing for the same moment.
Wedding films →A few things worth knowing.
Do you photograph weddings throughout Paarl and Wellington?
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Paarl, Wellington and the surrounding Cape Winelands, as well as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Cape Town, Somerset West, the Overberg and destinations further afield.
Have you photographed Paarl wedding venues before?
Yes. I've photographed multiple weddings at Belair Pavilion in Paarl, along with weddings at Au d' Hex Estate and Langkloof Roses in nearby Wellington. Familiarity is useful, but experience also means being able to work quickly when conditions change.
Do you offer both wedding photography and film?
Yes. Couples can book photography, film, or have both covered together. When photography and film are booked together the team works as one unit, which keeps the day much less intrusive.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Peak Cape Winelands Saturdays can book well in advance. Once your Paarl or Wellington venue and date are confirmed, it is worth checking availability rather than waiting until every other part of the wedding has been finalised.
Be there for it. I'll remember it for you.
If the photographs feel like the way you want your wedding to feel, send me your date, venue and a little about the two of you.

Your date, venue and a little about the two of you is enough to start. I'll personally check availability and come back to you.
