How exposed is the ceremony?
Ocean and mountain views often mean exposure to wind. Ask what the venue's real alternative is if the forecast changes, not only whether they technically have one.
Where does the sun sit at ceremony time?
A spectacular west-facing view can also mean hard light directly into your guests' faces. Ceremony orientation has a major effect on both comfort and photographs.
How will guests move through the day?
Cape Town traffic can turn a short-looking transfer into a long one. If getting ready, ceremony and reception are in different places, build realistic travel time into the day.
Does the venue still work after sunset?
